Stop the video at 2:19 and you will see a horse with only one hoof at the ground. In this piaffe, you have to look only at the hindlegs - there is no normal motion. This is only normal for horses ridden by him. I would really like seeing riding him, if his horses were trained normal - he sits fantastic on a horse. But this will sure not happen - why do anything other, when you´re on the winner street?

I would rather ride a airy horse that's soft and light on his feet Then a heavy horse like Charlotte s that ( seems heavy ) This horse has a lot of front end motion. That does seem to get in his own way But as a individual he is Awesome Fun Ride it seems, plus I love his lead changes love them I say great Better then some of the others If this lovely horse could just slow down and get out of his own way with his front legs he would be a perfect 10 He leggy that's just the way he is built but his ability is endless He actually bends in corners where some others are so collected they cannot

Kein Vergleich mit Juan Montez & Fuego , hier ist so viel Stress drin ,das ganze wird so schnell abgespult - das ich gar nicht mehr zuschauen möcht, hab eher das dringende Bedürfnis dieses Pferd aus der " Maloche " befreien zu wollen . Musik ist auch eher nervend . Schade

Hard music to ride to but they do it beautifully . Hope I can find this music without commentators somewhere so I can listen to it constantly.

Most of you are overwhelmed with the extravagance of his movement. He is somewhat difficient in durchlaessigkeit. Look at the canter piroutte, He is far from the ideal. He also has problems with geraderichten as he moves into collection. Watch the piaffe. His side to side movement indicates a lack of collection sufficient to maintain a straight piaffe. At no time do you see a drop in the haunches as he moves into collection as we should see.

hmm... not a terrible test. but just what I saw; Rider has some uneven contact, horse loses momentum in piaffe. and seems verryy nervous through out the whole test. and another thing, his poll is not highest point. Also during flying changes, the horse isnt straight. After seeing this, I believe this rider should focus more on flying changes and piaffe as it is key movements. Im not sure of there score, but it would be nice to hear it and placing. Also how old is this horse? Although I do see these mistakes, they look very promising. IF they fix those things they would be alot better!

The driving seat or the seat that drives a horse crasy? This is the typical driving seat used in competition dressage. It is stiff and unyielding. The shoulders and arms are locked "in position" and rider is stiff in her back and thighs. She uses the leaning back of the upper body and the reins to keep her balance instead of her seat, her core with lower back muscles and soft draping legs.

I was lucky enough to see this pair at the Olympics with a friend who is an international judge. It was an impressive, beautiful Kur, but my friend told me that although Severo Jurado and Lorenzo deserved an 89%, he wouldn´t get over 85. The reason for this was that he `couldn`t` get more than the well-known riders on the circuit. When the results came through, it was as predicted. However, the public made their disgust with the results known with spontaneous booing and whistling. There were two more pairs to ride after the Spaniard, but although one was Isabelle Werth, the magic had gone out of the afternoon, and there was a general air of anger and disappointment. When the judges left the booths, everyone shouted and insulted them, and they walked away with the sound of `España` being chanted at them. The prize giving ceremony lacked the lustre it should have had, a sad end to an otherwise wonderful show
